Tubers have excellent resistance to splitting and some resistance to bruising. Trials have found good resistance to dry rot (Fusarium coeruleum), powdery scab, common scab and blackleg. This variety has low resistance to dry rot (Fusarium sulphureum), late blight on tubers and potato virus Yo .. Tests for resistance to potato cyst nematode demonstrated susceptibility to both Globodera rostochiensis Ro1 and Globodera pallida Pa 2/3, 1.
