Tubers have poor resistance to splitting and some resistance to bruising. Trials have found good resistance to dry rot (F. coeruleum) and powdery scab. This variety has low resistance to dry rot (F. sulphureum). Tests for resistance to potato cyst nematode demonstrated partial resistance to both Globodera rostochiensis Ro1 and Globodera pallida Pa 2/3, 1.
